Can I earn dividends on the stock in my Grifin account?

Learn about how dividends work in your Grifin app.

Yes! If you own a stock on Grifin offers a dividend payment to their stockholders, you will earn dividend payments on that stock, and they're paid out right in your Grifin account.

Any dividends you earn from dividend-paying stocks go straight into the "investable cash" section of your Grifin Home page. Dividends are typically paid out to stockholders once per quarter (every 3 months).

What can you do with your dividend earnings?
You can re-invest the dividends you earn by manually buying more stock in the company or companies of your choosing! Just click the "Buy" button on stocks you believe in that you want to own more of, and enter the amount of stock you want to buy. Or, you can withdraw the cash to your linked funding source.

How do you view your dividend activity?
Open
your Grifin app > open the left side menu > click "Brokerage Account History."

Keep in mind, the dividend payable to your fractional share must be greater than or equal to $0.01 in order to be credited to your account.
