Right now, Grifin only allows you to connect up to 2 banks / institutions in your Banks tab via Plaid: One as your funding source (like, a valid bank account), and the other as your transaction source (like, a valid credit or debit card).
Transactions made at publicly-traded companies that fall under BOTH of these accounts/cards will be recognized by Grifin, and stock in those companies will be purchased by Grifin on your behalf. For example: If you have a Bank of America Checking account and VISA credit card, as well as 3 American Express credit cards, the transactions from all 5 will be recognized for public stock purchases.
Now, if you've already connected a credit card as your transaction source, and you decided you want to change it to another one, doing so is easy:
-
Tap Banks in the bottom right corner of your Grifin app
-
Under Transaction accounts, look for the red trash can icon that's next to the financial institution you wish to delete, and press it
-
Follow the confirmation steps on the screen to fully delete that card
-
You will see a "Add Card or Bank Account" button appear - tap it!
-
Follow the Plaid connection steps and connect the new card you wish to add to Grifin as your Transaction source
-
Done!
