How much does Grifin cost? How does Grifin make money?

At Grifin, we're committed to transparency and affordability for our 500,000+ download community nationwide:

● Grifin is 100% free to download.
● There are absolutely $0 commission fees on every single stock trade you make - buys and sells.
● Zero recurring weekly, monthly, or yearly fees.

In some instances, our providers/vendors may impose certain small (and infrequent) fees for obscure items - like a wire transfer or ACATS transfer. Because the vast majority of transfers between banks today are ACH, wires and ACATS transfers are rare and infrequent.

Rest assured, these fees will only be passed on to you if they are applicable. For a detailed overview of other potential fees, please view the complete list here.

So then, how does Grifin generate revenue to stay in business? Well, two specific ways:

  1. We are a venture backed financial technology company, and have raised over $11M in venture capital to-date from some of the top investors around the country to fuel our growth and keep operative costs down, and
  2. We retain a small portion of the interest that is gained on the cash that sits in user's "investable cash" accounts. This is in place of the "traditional" finance industry model of directly charging members based on their amount of "Assets Under Management" (AUM fees), "order flow payments," or "trading fees" -- we do NONE of these, thus aligning with our company values.

We hope this helps give you a clearer picture into how Grifin operates. Your trust in our services is greatly valued.
