Welcome to Grifin! We’re excited to get to know you and thank you for letting us be a small part in your next big step into investing.
We started Grifin 6 years ago due to our frustration with the finance industry and belief that people deserved better. For too long, the money ecosystem has prioritized profit over people and that needed an honest change.
To do this right, we decided to start from scratch and build a finance company with the mindset of being people first and that life should be a little more fun.
As you embark on this journey, we hope you can sense the difference and always feel supported. We are genuinely in this together. In short, we built Grifin because we needed something like this in our lives.
One of our core values is Names, not Numbers, where we should always remember that our customers are real people and so are the people that make up our company. A finance company of people from all over the world, with different backgrounds and stories, that work and move alongside you… just like our app.
Grifin, our core first product, which stands for the Greatest Revolution In Finance Is Now, is a refreshing, new platform that lets you invest in yourself like never before… literally. A first of its kind, new way to invest, based on the concept of life and how we experience it.
By automatically investing in the companies you spend, you know where your money is going, and you’re also slowly and consistently putting money away into a wide range of brands that are being used by you (plus, you know the added benefits of a clearer, more controlled financial future for yourself, while also not having to pick and choose what to invest in and time the market).
No more, “I wish I would’ve invested in that company”. That’s the coolest part about Grifin. It just works with you, alongside your day. A service that adapts to the ebbs and flows of your unique life. As you change, so do your investments.
In a world where other automatic investing platforms might categorize you into predefined strategies, your Grifin account will always be as distinctive as you are. We believe that small changes can lead to significant impacts. Grifin is here to add micro-positive accomplishments to your daily routines. It's about taking care of yourself without having to change yourself.
Also, super super important, the intent is to not spend more or change the way you live (unless you learn through our app maybe you need to work on some of your spending 😂) - it’s about adding a layer of self care to what you’re already doing.
As of now, our concept may not be meant for everyone, and that's okay. If you're burdened by high-interest debt or need immediate access to cash for bill payments, we recommend addressing those priorities first. Similarly, if overdrafting is a concern, automated withdrawals from your bank account might not be the best fit for you.
We have built in measures like weekly deposit limits and balance checks, but ultimately you have to decide if this is something you are able to do. Unfortunately, we can’t stop your bank from charging you overdraft fees. We need to each do our part to be responsible and accountable to make this successful.
Our app is for people who believe there’s a better way. You're willing to help build our community with us, knowing that good things take time and commitment. You're not here for quick profits; you understand that the best things in life are the result of dedication and perseverance.
Just like you, we’re human. We understand you may make mistakes and we will be here to help you when that happens. We are not perfect either. We will always do everything in our power to give you the best experience possible.
Everyday we work to be better, but sometimes like any company we may have growing pains and our technology may have bugs. This may create some wonky experiences here and there, but we vow to always improve and any feedback from you will help us get better quicker.
In all ways, to make investing and money a simpler and more enjoyable experience this will be a big undertaking, but we’re ready for the challenge and hope you are too.
