What companies will I invest in this week? What does the "Upcoming" status mean? How do I pause this week's deposit?

Upcoming transfers let you know how much money is about to be automatically transferred from your Funding Source (bank account) to your Grifin account to purchase your stock!

Throughout the week, we tally up how many individual companies you spent at - whether it was grabbing coffee at your favorite coffee chain, fueling up a couple times at the gas station, or paying a few of your monthly utility or insurance bills, Grifin detects when you spend at over 2,500+ publicly-traded companies and subsidiaries.

As you go through the week, we’ll update the companies you spent at right in the middle of your "Home" tab, where you will see all the stocks you have queued up to be purchased from all the spending you did this week as indicated by the yellow "Upcoming" status in the top right corner:

This shows you all the different companies you’re about to become an owner in and how much money is expected to be transferred from your linked bank account to your Grifin account on the "Weekly Transfer Day" that you specified in your Investment Settings.

PRO TIP: To see your weekly investments from prior weeks, click the "Activity" tab in the bottom menu bar, and look for all the times it says "Weekly Transfer" - these are your weekly stock purchases on Grifin!

Additionally, you can quickly filter for these and even more activity items by clicking the filter button in the top right corner to get a more specific view of what you're looking for:

Finally, you can also skip this week's stock purchases if you want to take a break from investing for the week! In order to skip this week's "Upcoming" deposit that we showed you at the top of this page, you must first click this gear icon in the middle of your Home page:

Then, just tap the toggle switch pictured below to the off position and click "Save Investment Settings," and this will pause your transfer for the week:

NOTE: You must do this before the date and time indicated under the "Upcoming Deposit" amount. After that date and time, we can not do anything to stop the deposit, and Grifin will transfer funds from your bank to buy you your stock as normal.
