Each week, Grifin's technology automatically invests you in the places you spend with, shop at, or pay bills with - with some added benefits.
For example, with Alpaca and Apex, you're able to live trade your stock and make deposits faster. Additioanlly, they are both members of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (“SIPC”). SIPC protects against the loss of cash and securities held by a customer up to $500,000, which includes a $250,000 limit for cash.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When your weekly automatic transfer from your bank to Grifin occurs (or any time you make a cash deposit to Grifin), the transaction will appear as "ALPACASECURITIES" on your bank statement. So, if you’re new to Grifin, don't worry -- that's us making the transfer!
