How do I withdraw my cash?

This article will help you withdraw the cash in your account.

To withdraw cash from your account, follow these steps:

1. Open the Grifin app.

2. Click on the Menu icon in the top left corner of your Home page.

3. Click on "Banks".

4. Under “Transfer Cash”, select “Transfer to your Bank.”

5. From there you can enter the amount you want to withdraw, or select “Full Amount” if you want to withdraw all of the cash available in your account.

6. Click "Submit".

7. Click "Confirm".

It will take 1-3 business days for this withdrawal to become available in your bank.

"But wait - why does my "cash available for withdrawal" NOT match up with my "investable cash?" How can I fix it?

Did you recently sell stock? If you did, it takes 2 full business days for the cash from the stock sale(s) to become available to be withdrawn to your linked bank account.

Did you recently deposit cash to Grifin at any point in the last week or so? If you did, it takes 6 full business days for your recently deposited cash to be withdrawn to your bank account. Just like selling stock, this settlement period is imposted by US regulatory body requirements to ensure for the banks that your initial deposit successfully clears.

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to speed up this process, as it is imposted by US federal requirements. So, please check on your account again in either 2 business days or 5 business days, depending on which of the above apply to your account!
